2/3/2013: It's 8+ months and I'm way past eyebrow length. I am pretty much half to nose tip length. My hair is super curly like Annie. I'm loving every minute. Now I'm going to start recording the Lengths of my hair.
| Front: 4.5 inches| Top: 5 inches|
| Sides: 5 inches | Back: 4inches |

8/16/2012: I'm in my twa phase. Grown out of the shaven one, so sad. It's so exciting that I never know what my hair is going to be next.. It's like a surprise each and every month!

5/28/2012: As you can see by the title of this blog, 'No hair don't care', I am bald. Well, not bald but closely shaven. Today I'm starting a blog on my hair journey from relaxed to completely natural... it's going to be hard and different but I hope I can pull through. Feel free to follow me.

I’m so in love with how versatile “black” hair is. Relaxing and weaves are NOT your only options, ladies. Team Go Natural!

** Giving credit where credit is due: I “stole” this photo from Chescaleigh’s Facebook page. Its from a shoot all these lovely ladies did for a Carol’s Daughter campaign.**

Shea Butter!!! It will be your best friend! That's what I had to use because my hair was 100% dry and only water could keep it alive, but who wants a wet head when its cold outside? Oils too. Jojoba, Olive, Tea Tree, Almond, and Coconut! Hope it helps!

My answer:

Should I use Pure Shea butter? or Products with them?

freedomofsarcasm Asked:
What hair type do you have? I have 4C and I struggled for the longest time with what "concoction" was an efficient moisturizer. Well, turns out it is vegetable glycerin and coconut oil does the trick. I usually wet my hair, apply a generous amount of the vegetable glycerin and then coconut oil. Every person's hair is different though and you'll find out by trial and error. Some people swear by olive oil but it does nothing for my hair. Best of luck finding something that works! :)

My answer:

I have a mixture of 3B, 3C, and 4A (I don’t really understand the type system that well so i just go by characteristics). It’s very loose at the crown, top, and back.. Tightly coiled at the sides and a mix in all of the random parts.

But when it drys completely, it gets super frizzy and untamable and starts to shed.

I’m really trying my best D: but the only thing working is my greek yogurt deep conditioning treatment.

My hair is extremely dry.. It’s crazy. Idk if its my texture or its split ends.. When i do my weekly deeply conditioning treatments.. There are no frizzies and everything is completely curled. I have mixed hair textures.. Some parts of my hair has big loose curls and some tight curls. (Like bb shots). But when my hair starts to dry.. That’s when the frizzy mess comes. My hair is naturally dry. Like crazy dry and idk how to keep it mositurize and define the curls.. Sure I like the fro look but it’s definitely not good for my hair to be this dry. I just need products that will lock in moisture and define my curls all day long instead of being crunchy, dry, and brittle. Pls help me?!?

This was originally typed on my phone, but here’s how my hair is now:

My hair a while back with my old deep conditioning treatment:

My curls are much looser now and the deep conditioning treatment i use now is much better and full of protein.
